The storyline (without major spoilers)

S E A S O N  1

Volume 1

Chapter 1

When Ryo, a soft spoken officer, joins the NYPD's 27th precinct, he's soon partnered up with Dee - a cocky, confident cop with attitude to spare. Their first investigation centers around a street punk named Bikky who's up to no good. When Dee and Bikky are kidnapped, it's up to Ryo to come to their rescue and save the day. Afterwards, Dee reveals his feelings for Ryo run much deeper than friendship, but Ryo isn't exactly receptive to his overtures. ;) In fact, he's not sure what to think or where to turn!

Chapter 2

Before long, their attention is diverted by a young pickpocket (and childhood friend of Bikky) named Carol who needs protection from a group of gangsters who want her dead. As Dee and Ryo do everything in their power to protect her, their bond grows stronger and stronger. Soon, it's impossible to ignore the electrified emotions that are brewing between them. Could this be love...?!

Chapter 3

Jemmy J. Adams (JJ), a new cop, starts working at the 27th precinct. He knows Dee from the police academy, where he fell deeply in love with him. Even today, he is still head over heels for him and makes this quite clear. Now Dee tries everything to get rid of the annoying guy - and convince Ryo that there is absolutely nothing between him and JJ, because somehow, Ryo appears jealous! How could that be when he always claims to be profoundly straight? Ryo doesn't understand himself anymore...

Chapter 4

Bikky and Carol drive off to summer camp. But even here, the problems seem to be waiting for them: a boy named Billy trying to blackmail Carol, a murderous beast and some unfamiliar feelings between Carol and Bikky are only three of them. Besides, Bikky proves to be the hero of the camp - but also an outright homophobe. So what will he do about the growing relationship between Dee and Ryo?

Volume 2

Chapter 5

Dee and Ryo go on their first vacation together. Dee wants to take his chance to advance their relationship (and if he's lucky, maybe seduce Ryo), while Ryo still doesn't understand his own feelings for Dee. Their vacation and relationship are suddenly disturbed by murders around the hotel and the mysterious cop Berkley Rose who is trying to solve them. And when JJ, Bikky and Carol show up, it appears that one of their group might be the killer's next target!

Chapter 6

Dee takes Ryo to visit the orphanage he grew up in. When a bomb explodes and seriously injures the nun who raised him, Dee will stop at nothing to find the perpetrator and get even. It's up to Ryo to stop Dee before his lust for revenge leads to murder!

Chapter 7

A big misunderstanding occurs and Bikky and Carol are mad at each other. But when Carol goes to the cinema with her classmate Bobby while some dangerous criminals are in the streets, Bikky gets worried and searches for them. Will he manage to find Carol and Bobby and bring them to safety before something terrible happens? And will Carol and Bikky ever be friends again?

Volume 3

Chapter 8

Ryo and Dee are on the hunt for a serial killer who murders pretty women. They are aided by FBI agent Diana Spacey, an old friend of Berkley with whom she is secretly in love. But her love is unrequited because the commissioner has set his eyes on Ryo. Now Dee has a romantic rival! There's not much time for solving these private issues though, because soon, Diana is caught in the killer's web and it's up to Berkley, Dee and Ryo to save her.

Chapter 9

It's Christmas Eve. Everyone is joyful - except Ryo. He remembers the death of his parents that happened also on Christmas Eve exactly ten years ago, and how it destroyed his family. What will happen when Dee stops by to celebrate Christmas with him?

Chapter 10

When Bikky and Carol meet Lass and Lai, Bikky and Lai immediately dislike each other. But when Carol and Lass get kidnapped, Lai and Bikky have to work together to rescue their girls, and start respecting each other. They seem to come too late, when suddenly something inexplicable happens. Could it be that Lai and Lass have some extraordinary powers...?

Volume 4

Chapter 11

When reports flood the 27th Precinct with news of an explosion and bomb scare in their neighborhood, Dee and Ryo find themselves on call to defuse the deadly situation. Tension runs even higher when they discover the targeted site is none other than Bikky's school! The whole situation escalates when Dee and Bikky get trapped in the middle of the bombs, Dee gets seriously injured and even the police chief is suddenly in great danger. Will there be deaths this time...? And what about Ryo's feelings for Dee?

Chapter 12

Some time before Carol's 18th birthday, Bikky is acting weird and doesn't want to spend time with her anymore. What is he up to? Carol fears he might not like her anymore! How will she react when she finds out the real nature of his secret?

Chapter 13

This day just can't get any worse for Dee. He is sick, JJ is more annoying than ever, and worst of all, he still doesn't know if Ryo feels anything for him. Can't anything positive happen today as well...?

Volume 5

Chapter 14

Ryo is on the biggest case of his life as he and Dee trail the cold-blooded killer that murdered Ryo's parents. They soon catch up with the perp... but will a lack of evidence turn the murderer loose or turn Ryo into a cold-blooded killer himself?

Chapter 15

Max Fork, an old friend of JJ, comes to visit the 27th Precinct. But soon, JJ notices that his friend is not the same person he was before. Max has changed - in a bad way...

Chapter 16

Lai gets kidnapped - along with Bikky. The kidnappers want to blackmail Lai's rich family. Will they succeed? Or will Carol and Lass find the boys soon enough? Again, Lai and Lass prove their abilities go beyond normal human standards!

Volume 6

Chapter 17

A psychopath is on the loose, killing kids and cutting off their hands. And then Carol feels as if she's being followed... As if that wasn't enough excitment, Dee takes another big step toward Ryo - but will Ryo react well to it, or will it drive him away?

Chapter 18

Dee had never had a father, but someone close to it. When Ryo finds him visiting the grave of this de facto dad, Dee tells him about his past and the man who inspired him to become a cop. This way, Ryo gets an in-depth look at Dee's sometimes cruel parentless childhood...

Volume 7

Chapter 19

As Ryo struggles to figure out his feelings for Dee, the two cops are assigned to serve as bodyguards for a mob-boss's daughter named Alicia Grant - who is married to Leo Grant, the man that killed Ryo's parents! And this mysterious lady plays her own game of confusion... but whose side is she really on?

Chapter 20

The big final! Three weeks have passed since Chapter 19 and still, Dee is unsure how Ryo feels about him. But finally, Ryo makes a decision...
